Ex won’t spend the money on the kids
I separated from my ex partner because of her party lifestyle and I get to see my kids when she picks and chooses.
I pay csa through benefit as recently came out of work but I am starting work again soon.
The problem is that she will be getting csa to fund her party lifestyle and its not for my 2 kids.I have told het I will get the kids what they need if she lets me know but she wants the money.
What can I do? Can I do anything? Will the side with the mother?
Any help would be appreciated.

In truth there is not much you can do. So I will suggest that you ignore the advice below:
You can insist on reciepts for things that are bought. you can repport the matter to the CSA and they can make the same request. in fact they would be legally obiged to. ( I will look further into this.)
but she will site things like rent, food clothes toiletries and the like.
The CSA will quote S1 CSA act which states the you are required to make regular payments.
My advice at this point then will be to pay the CSA and pay no more than is required. so withdraw your previous offer all the while there is CSA involvement.
this is why this vermin is so unfair. the csa don’t give a shit how the mother spends the money. THEY REALLY DONT. I have heard so many times when asked why they don’t check how the money is spent ? they answered with “because we don’t need to, its not our problem and neither do we care how the mother spends the money” that’s whats so disgusting. Oh and I have had some twats on here bleeting on about the money is also used to pay utility bills. That’s a lame and totally bollocks excuse. If the kid was not under that roof, the mother would still have to pay her electric and gas bill…The money should not be used to pay her utility bill. it should be spent !00% on the kids.
