Ex stopped access because I wouldn’t pay her in cash
Me and my wife split up last month and we arranged that to start with i would see them every saturday for 4 hours.
Anyway because i refused to pay her the maintenance in cash she has stopped me from seeing the children. I have no problem in maintenance for the children but i need proof that i’ve paid her which is why i wanted to set-up a direct debit.
I’m not sure why she is demanding that i pay it in cash, i can only assume that she wants to fiddle her benefits.

CM is paid to the PWC on top of her benefits.The reason she wants cash is because then she can send you to the CSA when she wants to and say you have not been paying her anything,and then you get to pay her all over again and end up in debt and the CSA will take her word for it.DO NOT PAY HER CASH IN HAND, do not buy the children anything if you want it to go through CM ,CSA will not be bothered with receipts, pay all money by bank and if she accepts payment before CSA get involved state on payment CHILD MAINTENANCE.Do not go down the wrong path with CSA and PWC,keep all letters ,dates you pay and any documents you get from these people.Good Luck and hope you get good advice from the forum(which I know you will).
If she wants paying in cash then you can get her to sign a paying in book with her signature. I’m with Alice on this, sounds to me she’s another pwc who uses the kids like a cashpoint, really angers me! In the meantime, keep monies held back just incase csa do get involved. My hubbies ex the same, he was paying her cash and buying kids things….never wanted for nothing, big mistake and not knowing in the background csa running up a debt of arrears dating back some years and leaving us destitute now, yet csa said school uniform etc gifts, they’re not interested unless they get their money. Wait until next year when pwcs will have to either make private arrangement or pay to use the csa!
