Ex says I need to ask her permission to go on holiday, is that right?
I left my ex in August 2006, she got the house on the understanding she would not take me to the csa, we went to mediation! The following year I met someone else, in 2008 she rang me up asking for £50 a week or she would go to the csa, which she did I had to pay £24 a week, it did not matter that we had made an agreement! They told me I have to pay.do I ave to ask my ex when I go on holiday?
I have my boys 3 nights a week! She tells me I must ask her when I go on holiday ! I tell her a month in advance, she says I need to ask her permission! Is this the case? As when she went way for 2 weeks she did not ask me she just told me Your having the boys for 2weeks I’m going on holiday!
Please help! Seems whatever I do is never right!

No you don’t have to ask. ! Sounds to me she still wants control of you , I would tell her. To. F off !
To go on holiday with your kid/s is probably just bein courteous, tho when she goes she ll tell you nothing… All about control my friend.
If you both have parental responsibility and you want to take kids in holiday you need to have permission from her and same the other way round. However if u want to go in holiday with your partner without the kids then she has standing to get u to ask her for permission
Why the hell should you aske her permission for you and your new (Better) partner to go on holiday this is control and manipulation by the ex, get on holiday and send the ex a post card “Glad you are not here, having fun”
I would just be courteous, although I’m a PWC I ALWAYS ask my ex husband if he doesn’t mind when I take OUR little girl away. I would have no problem if he wanted to take her.i just can’t understand those PWC’s who think they have total control….
you can go anywere u want but if u take kids u need her permission to take them out the uk cos she is pwc but she can take them out the uk for up to a month without the nrps permission. been there done that and got the t shirt and done it through the courts it has nothing to do with the csa thats just about money nothing else
