Ex refuses to pay CSA
I would just like to say how rubbish the csa are. I have informed them all the way since my two boys were 3 and 4 which they are 18 and 19 now never received a penny!
As he is self employed lives around the corner from me! Claims he doesnt live there with his new wife with no kids! Although kids see him regular he said when i left him i will never get a penny! He was the one unfaithfull and since i have struggled lost my house, yet i have worked and worked and paid for everything never been unemployed and hes on 600 pound a week and never paid anything.
CSA are a waste of time! Let down is not the word. I was with the man nine years and these are his only children and sees them but i wouldnt stop them as he is still there dad he said he wouldnt pay and didnt and they did nothing.
They respect me more but its disgusting!! absolute disgrace.. that man cost me thousands my parents put the deposit down on our house which i enevitably lost. Now in a council house still working with nothing to look forward to when i retire yet he has his house and wife with a paid off mortgage i could understand if he had other children it was spite and csa did nothing. It’s not like it was a one night stand 9 years…

Csa take the piss, they are so slow and fob you of every time you ring them and hold all money in a pot for imterest!!i feel your anger!
Have you formally complained to the CSA? It could be worth your while. Did the CSA ever manage to complete an actual assessment?
It could also be worth your while requesting a copy of your file from the DPU Unit to see what work, if any, the CSA actually done on your case.
I know with my own case the CSA never worked on my file for 5 years!! I got compensated from them for that. Thereafter when they did work on it I still never got a penny!!!
The system is so bad for both nrp and pwc.
That is so sad I feel your pain as going through similar issue. Carol what is DPU and how does one go about getting one’s file from them? Does one need a solcitors help or can it be done easily. Thank you.
Hi, your situation is identical to mine ! It’s terrible there is not a thing can be done for these kids , it’s their entitlement . My ex of 14 years is self employed , after been told last week that the business has made no profit and no entitlement for kids , my ex informs girls film crews are at shop to make advert . Now excuse me but surely this money is coming from business ???
But hey it’s his decision if he does not help with girls then so be it , my girls want for nothing but a fiver here and there from their dad for them even as a treat would not hurt !
This site always amazes me how the “gentlemen” always have something nice to say about the ladies , not every women is the same as is not every man . It’s time people stopped tarring everyone with the some brush because of their passed experiences . Everyone one has rights men , women and the children the Csa are crap but they are a lifeline to some people , if you have kids be prepared to look after them until they are of age . They are both mothers and fathers responsibility and should be cared for financially with both parents having time with kids but some see it as away of shirking out of responsibility which leaves exes hurt , upset and in some cases struggling . Instead of cussing people out on websites look at what you can do to improve your kids lives , pay what you can . Louise I hope you get things sorted soon with or without Csa , good luck to all us parents it’s the hardest job we will ever have , May not be rewarding financially but is in si many other ways
