Ex keeps avoiding payment
I separated from my ex-husband in 2000. I have been banging heads with the CSA for payments for my two sons for 11 years.
My ex changes circumstances on a regular basis, to avoid payments which he has managed to get away with. He was investaged in 2008, and because of the delays the CSA made me a payment for the public purse, and my ex husband got away without paying yet again. He did a change of circumstances 6 months ago and i am still awaiting for the case worker to contact me. I phone every week, emails have been sent and complaints been made. In the past i have involved my local MP, this lead to my ex being investigated.
I am so frustrated and i want to scream.
I just want to know what is going on and my ex to make regular payments, including all the arrears, which i have now been informed have been suspended. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks. T

The CSA is not interested in collecting money for its clients. It is only interested in collecting money where it is going to keep the money for itself to spend on its own salaries and bonuses. Yes, it’s just like the banks.
Again, this is where the very introduction of the CSA was fundamentally flawed. They decided to overrule all the cases where there were already satisfactory agreements and Court Orders in place leaving the total mess that it is today.
Go onto a site called CSA – If we have to pay, we want our say! on Facebook and have a chat with Lisa and Sarah. They both have similar situations and seem to be starting to make progress in getting the CSA to actually to do something.

Hi, sorry to hear your story, unfortunately its the same for many, apart from getting in touch with Lisa and Sarah also join facebook groups child support agencies failings which gives advice and support as I have also had to deal with an ex not paying and taken my case further than many, I have won against the CSA and got a large advance payment few years ago, had the Criminal Compliance unit involved and just won against the appeal service and have another date in April now as the I have managed to cause upset between the appeal and csa – so this time it will be done right!
