Ex is committing benefit fraud
I am having some extreme problems with the CSA – my ex is committing benefit fraud so I have to pay literally thousands of pounds in arrears that don’t exist, my MP (Rosie Winterton), the Child Benefit Office, the Child Support Agency and the Benefit Fraud Hotline all know about it and have done since almost day one but are doing nothing to help me.
I have worked all my life, I served in the Army for ten years and have been working in construction management since getting out. This has been going on now since March this year, I have been forced into debt and I don’t know how much longer I can go on. If you can’t help me do you know anyone that can?

How is she doing benifit fraud?
We r in the same situation, benefit fraud and mp involved as my partners ex been claiming child benefit for a child (well 18) who has moved out and been working…it happens when they fail to tell the relevant ppl that their circumstances have changed, csa wouldn’t investigate it so we had too.
Don’t they automatically stop child benifit at 18 anyway
No they don’t as you can still get it when the child goes onto full time education, can be paid up right until they are 20!, she told them the girl had stayed on at college, but we knew she started work and moved in with her boyfriend. Csa wanted nearly 4000.00 in payments til next year when we knew it to be wrong and the case should’ve been closed.
Ah that’s bad
Yeah it is and they still take payments from his wages hence mp involved, csa constantly ignore us or pass us from pillar to post :'(
I went to the press and they don’t give a sh*t either, basically this woman is stealing from me, actually stealing from me.
The daughter who I am paying for is living it up on DLA of over £300 a month for ‘depression’ whilst my CSA pays the rent on her share of a private flat.
Child Benefit, CSA and even Benefit Fraud Team are doing nothing.
Get mp involved. Luckily I checked the electoral register and his daughter wasn’t down at her mothers address, which she needed to be for proof of residency to claim child benefit, the case now closed, but trying to get the deo stopped is another story.
How do people sleep at night commiting benifit fraud?
My dad has been makin CSA payment for the last 18 year’s which has basically ruined his whole life making payments of over 300 a month . I have recently found out that she is being sentenced in Plymouth crown court for benefit fraud for the last 13 years for her and my dads daughter as I guess she was not entitled to this money as she was married. I am only 18 and I am all he has , he has lost his home now his job and everything, is there any way he is entitled to claiming anything he has had to pay back? Can someone please help me
