Ex has fathered 8 children – why should my child suffer?

I have one child with a man that has 9 children in total for 5 different women, but my child has always been denied even though a dna test confimed that the absent parent was the father he still did not pay maintainace and refused to see my son until he was thirteen and half when we met by chance.

I never knew that this man was still creeping around his ex before me and also went on to another relationships just before ours had fully ended this man has accepted the 8 other children that he’s father after mine and has been on five holidays a year with his various women whilst my son and I have struggled through life on few evens my son and i have even had to go to bed hungry.

please tell me is this right I have done nothing wrong all Ive asked is that he take an equal share of the responsibilities towards my son is that so wrong. i have always worked part time and have never claimed benefits but in these difficult times things have become an unbareable struggle and my is having to skip meals. dispite all of this the csa has taken this man off a attachment of earning order and given him the pivilage to miss payments, not pay the correct amount of maintenance and make late payment.
