Stop paying mortgage and endowment. Because you won’t benefit from it.
Hand her a paid for life in a plate, she wont ever learn to be responsible, why should you foot the bill for her life, either pay the mortgage or csa, why should you pay both

I completely agree my ex has been on job seekers allowance for nearly two years, how does that work. I would have thought after a period of time, if she still hadnt found anything, because she didnt feel the need to, her benefits would stop or be reduced. But ive been told her job seekers allowance is not included, so as far as the CSA are concerned she has no income of her own.

Here we go again, actually the system isnt fair on both PWC and NRP – as for the PWC normally the mother – if the NRP changes jobs a lot or doesnt declare earnings &/or self employed, the PWC doesnt get the child support or correct child support, same goes for the NRP who is PAYE and has his/her wages docked (as they are paying extra for the NRP who are not paying). So both can suffer and both can play the system, I was the PWC whose NRP was self employed and played the system not to pay or pay when he wanted and never paid the correct amount – that he could well afford and went on to have more children by dif people who claimed benefits and never worked. Im a tax payer and always have been.
@ Karen, what do you mean here we go again, the OP has paid above and beyond, why should he foot the bill for his lazy ex who obviously wants life giving to her on a plate, you have had your fair share of shit from the CSA but look at where it got you, thousands in the bank, we as normal people that dont have much just want to be treated fairly, at the end of the day we dont eat sleep breathe CSA as you still seem to, we want justice its only a matter of time before that happens
well said Lisa
Seconded by me.
There is also a lack of transparency, with no factual details of the pwc’s true circumstances, where the CSA assist the pwc’s in providing only the barest of information, in order that it fits in with their scheme to have the maximum impact to extract as much as they can from the nrp’s income.
Over 13 years the CSA have NEVER provided me with ANY evidence of the pwc’s true income or benefit status. How on earth is any nrp under those circumstances, supposed to believe the CSA?
All that the nrp gets from an freedom of information/data file request, is a redacted file, that only shows the nrp, what the CSA want them to see, and hides any false information provided by the PWC.
Unredacted files would blow the whole corrupt system out of the water in any fair and reasonable court of law. However, I also know that the courts/tribunals are corrupt, and being run by CSA staff.
All that nrp’s can hope for, is that senior judges in the Supreme court rule against this corrupt system in a landmark case. That will open the floodgates for nrp claims for restorative justice and compensation for being demonised and criminalised, and treated worse than criminals.
