Does the CSA add admin costs if you pay through them?
My partner has just started to pay csa after a dna found him to be the father of another womans child.
The problem is that the other woman has sent her claim in to find out the top line he should pay, then cancelled them so he pays it in full to her directly, she has refused to go through CSA.
Do the csa add an administrative cost to payments they calculate if it was originaly to go through them?
Is she pulling a fast one?
She has also refused him to see his child as he refused to be in a relationship with her.
Can his payments be lowered due to her refusing him contact?
As he is paying csa money is he entitled to family tax credits?
Any help would be fantastic xx

If there is only 1 child in the case and it was opened after 2003 the case will currently be on CS2 system and there are no admin charges (if your partner had a DNA test arranged by the CSA he will be liable for the cost of that). The full amount of the assessment would be paid to the PWC.
Maintenance and access are not connected so he would not be liable for a reduction due to the fact that he does not get to see the child. A maintenance liability does not entitle an NRP to Child Tax Credits – this is payable to the parent with care.
If your partner is not happy to enter into a private agreement with the PWC he can refuse to do so – if he wishes to pay maintenance for his child via CSA he can make his own application. When an NRP application is made the agency will contact the PWC and they will ask if the PWC wishes to superceed the NRP app with a PWC app (this is basically protection against the NRP closing the case as the person who opens the case is entitled to close the case).

Your OH can check his liabilty on the CSA calculator, link below.

Did the CSA arrange the DNA?
Have the CSA calculated your OH liability?
Your OH needs to establish asap, directly with the CSA, if the case has been closed or if it has not, if he is making payments correctly and in accordance with the agencies instructions.
