If your in receipt of the child benefit then it’s a yes.
If not then your ex needs to inform the child benefit people that one of the children has moved in with you
I would make your own enquiry to this though
Would it not be simpler for you both to cut the csa out all together since your both working ?
We had hubbys son live with us and cos pwc lied (we even sent prof that CHB was being paid to hubby) we STILL paid pwc for the boy… be wary of the CSA. You could counter claim for the child or you could agree that as you have one child each no payments are made to either party.
depend on his age ect maybe you can get the payment stop as you have one she has one . long as you are getting child benefit for the child you can claim of her as well but i dunno how it work out
Happened in my situation, one lad lived with his mum, one with me. There is no offset arrangment we claimed from each other through the CSA as she put her claim in the day we moved out. As I earned more than her I ended up paying 45K total to her 5K over the history of the bitter experience with the CSA. Avoid these morons at all costs, despite a DOE she rarely got the money when it was due, guess she got it all in the end but, thought it was my fault throughout and used it as ammunition to further darken my name. She was as daft and ignorant as the workers at the CSA. It was a very significant day when I made the final payment and the case was closed (after the statutory 6K arrears were paid).
