Do the CSA have a right to get involved?
I’m looking for advice for my dad, three months ago he came home from work to find his wife had taken his son and moved out, she left a note on the side saying she would be in touch!
Anyway turned out she had emptied half the house and moves 300 miles away while he was working. So now, there months later she is refusing to let him see his six year old son and won’t give him their address.
He’s just received a letter from the CSA and a text off her demanding money.
Since they left my dad has been putting money into her daughter’s bank account every week to pay for his son and now she’s dating it’s not enough and wants more! Despite the fact she’s never worked a day in her life and has three teenage daughters to another man whom she gets CSA for and another teenage son to a different man who lives with his father and has nothing to do with her.
So my dad is wondering if the CSA have a ring to get involved as he is paying money on a private arrangement. Also, they were married when my half brother was born so where does he stand legally in getting access through a court.

If he can prove he’s paying money to her all he has to do is tell Csa they have a private arrangement , if however she cancels that and tells Csa she wants them to collect it they can .
They will collect from last payment your father made and can’t backdate it any further than last payment. The CSA are terrible to deal with , you will get a lot of people commenting on the opposite sex on here try to take no notice , I hope your dad gets sorted and good luck to you both !
HE need to go talk to a lawyer as they were marred she cant legal stop him from seeing the child and he can make her move closer to him so he can see her . best bet talking to lawyers they be able to help him more

Put money aside for your son but don’t give it to the greedy bitch of an ex to piss up the wall whichever way she thinks fit.
Once the CSA/CMS get their claws into you, they will bleed you dry for yrs and your ex and her partner will be rubbing their hands together and laughing at you, just like my ex.
