Daughter lives with me yet I PAY the CSA for my ex
Why the hell should I still have to pay my ex partner for my daughter who is living with me full time and still continue to try to support my daughter who arrived at my door with nothing but the clothes she was wearing?
All because the mother ‘said’ it was a temporary placement and AGAIN her word is taken over mine. AND will not be getting a refund of this money once it is proved so she is receiving money for a child that she doesnt have and I still have to look after my child so in effect – IM PAYING TWICE.
This is just the latest in a LONG line of issues I have had with the CSA, it never gets any easier.

They are all ejits at the csa. Totally useless im owed around 6 months worth of 26… It’s not difficult… XX / 7…. Take from monthly amount… Nothing I’ve even had to tell them after 4months that I made them aware… We have no record they said. Well its a good job I recorded the call then I said… You can only claim from today… I threatened court action and oh yes it appears you did… Called straight bk after and there’s nothing on system… Hmmm are you sure I’ve just called… When… 2minutes ago…. Oh… Yes so make a note again… Imbaciles
Is the child benefit in your name? Go see your mp asap x
Agree with Jay. If your daughter lives with you on a permanent basis, you should contact the DWP Newcastle and have the book transferred to you. This would prove that you are the Parent with care and then you can ask for maintenance from the childs mother!
The same thing happened to us in which the role of NRP and PWC were reversed. Luckily we live 80 miles away from the witch that said her son still lived with her even though he lived with us.
We registered him with a doctor, changes the address with his School, Bank and provided proof of all this to the Child Benefit office who after about 5 months awarded us CHB and then maintenance was assured through the CSA.
This isn’t the end of he battle however as we are still trying to sort out the date that we were awarded maintenance from!
