andy,
The CSA do currently include CTC as household income.
~ and on CS2, they also give a 25% reduction for 4 children living in the non resident parents household, prior to their CSA liability being calculated – Do your wife and her children benefit from this, even though they are nothing to do with your ex?
Does your wife receive CSA from her children’s father(s) and are CTC included in their liability?
How much are your arrears?
Can you pay the arrears?
When is the LO hearing?
chall ~ afairercsaforall
CTC are considered as income into the NRPs household and can be used as such for the purpose of a maintenance calculation. As chall states you will be given an allowance of 25% for the children living in your household so the weekly income is reduced by that amount before the calculation is done.
If you have arrears on your case and you have not come to an agreement with the agency to pay these arrears off they can impose a Deduction of Earnings Order at a max of 40% of your wages and/or apply for a LO. If a DEO is already imposed at 40% and this will not clear your arrears within a period of 24 months the case will be referred for parallel action which is where the DEO will remain in place and a LO will be applied for.
