CSA told me I’d be lucky to receive any money as I work
I first applied to the csa folowing my marriage break up in 1992, my daughters at the time being 5yrs and 1yr old.
I was working as a nurse, and was told by a helpful representative of the csa that “as i worked i would not be considred a worthy cause and would be lucky to see any money before my eldest was 16, little did i realise ….
Anyway, fast forward to present, 4 liability orders, 2 warrants for comittal to prison, bailiffs visits, attempts from 2 different mp’s i am still owed £51,000.
my ex husband has for the majority been self employed,has changed his surname in an attempt to hide from them. he has repaid approx £9,000 by an attachment of earnings when he was employed.
I have the majority of all letters and notes that have passed between myself and the csa, by way of SAR.
I contacted them yet again last week as the promised phone calls never happend. my case is now with enforcement, and has been for some time. they tell me now they were going back to court AGIN for another warrant for comittal but there had been a case whereby proceedures hadnt been followed properly and they were waiting for a decision on how to proceed.
The lady was quite abrupt this time, and in not so many words, the mesage was tough sh*t.
I have letters that admit they have not given the service i should have recieved, but when asked about compesation, i get told they do give advance payments from the arrears, but the absent parent needs to be making regular payments for them to consider this!
I am still working as a nurse, allbeit part time as i am now registered disabled, my daughters now aged 25 and 21. HELP?!

Your still chasing him after all these years? Why not get a life, assumptions about your ex,s life have got you no where, probably because assumptions were wrong, only spiteful people use the CSA, your “children” are now adults how are they going to benefit, the CSA are right, its tough shit your having really, these stories of pity make me mad, seems its motivation of seeing money, you claim that your ex.owes YOU so many thousands, he actually owes YOU nothing, seriously move on,

If the NRP is still Self Employed, then the poster of this topic could and should be asking the CSA, why a Third party order has not been implemented.
One can argue all day long as to the whys and wherefores of the whole issue, but, the Law is the Law and this person has been failed by the Law. So why should she not be entitled to what she should be entitled to??
