Hi
You did not say whether or not you wanted advice. However, I will provide you with some.
Under normal circumstances, the CMS does not take into acount your financial circumstances. They simple deduct a certain percenatge from your gross income in child support and the amout will of course depend on the number of children. For instance, 12 percent for one child whilst you would be liable to pay 16 percent for two children.
If you are encountering financial hardship, you can ask the authority to give effect to that and reduce your overall liability for child maintenance.
Let me know if you need help.
