CSA payment for my children
I was paying my ex wife money for my 3 children for around two half years with out any proof then she went to the csa and told them that i had,nt payed for my children.They told me i had to pay all the back pay back i was not happy about this but i payed what i could as it was taken out of my wages every 4 nite it started at one hundred sixty eight a 4 nite then to around two hundred forty eight.Before Xmas2011 they wer taking four hundred forty six out of me.
I was left with three hundred sixty two for a 4 nite.I complain to the csa that i thought i was paying to much and that my ex was getting more than me and i had rent to pay and i was told by a csa staff member that they didnt care what i have to pay out.
Well i am now working my protected earning hours witch is no good to me or the csa as i have to pay out two hundred tewnty pound a 4 nite on rent I need some help i no i have to pay for my children but if it not sorted soon i am moving back to wales and my children will be in Northern Ireland without there father.

The CSA can only take money from you from the date the claim was in and cannot backdate. Did your ex wife previously go tothe CSA but they did not collect money?
The CSA are not interested in your welfare or financial position whatsoever. We are in the same position and are basically being “screwed” by the CSA regardless of the fact me and my partner have our own kids together.
Have you requested a breakdown of maintenance to find out if the calculations are correct and also whether they have based their assessments on your correct salary. We had to do this and found that the CSA invented arrears to the extent of almost £15,000 and did not have my partner’s correct income either. How this Agency still operates is anyone’s guess?!
