CSA keep me running around in circles
I have been trying to get my maintenance payments sorted for the last 15 years.
The CSA have closed the case twice and I’ve not been able to find out why.
They never phone when they say they will or keep me updated on anything.
I am just continuously going round in circles. My ex partner has told them that he will leave his job rather than pay maintenance which I believe to be a criminal offence.
I have several letter’s informing me when I should have had payments and the amounts but nothing more.
I would appreciate any advice you may have.

Did you try and sort out a private arrangement first or did you go straight to the CSA?. Are you working?.
Could not have possibly sorted out a private arrangement. My ex partner never once bought anything or handed over any money.
He has now told the CSA that he may consider leaving his job to avoid paying maintenance.
No I’m not working as I am a carer for my mother.
You truly believe that he should be forced to work to pay you! Really what planet are you on if he leaves his job because you are sponging 40 percent of his wages so you can sit on your fat lazy ass then good o n him best thing he can do is vanish and start again with a decent woman at his side instead of a tramp like you you make me physically ill.

I think your in a no win scenario, if csa ttook only 15% of his wages it would not be to bad, but if he has arrears which he will they will take 40% and nobody can live a life with this amount of money being taken away from them. CSA make mistakes and make up figures and state that your in arrears. Also the new system is coming out soon where they prefer you to setup a private arrangment so my advice is sort this out amicably as best as you can and set a suitable amount to pay a week.. If CSA was coming after me for 40% of my wages I would packup as well I would go and join the foreign legion.
have you thought about the fact I have to look after my child!!!!!! ALONE! without any support from him. when baby items were needed he just walked away, has never handed over a penny. I have had to raise my children on very little money.
So yes I believe he should be forced to pay because he owes me money, and its only been backdated for a few months so he’s got away with 14 years.
