CSA keep informing me they haven’t collected the money he should have paid

I have 3 children u dear 18 with my ex partner of 16 years , he claims he don’t work but he does as a labourer as well as advertising his own gardening business , the CSA send me a letter every month to inform me they have not collected the money he should have paid. . he has a partner with whom he lives with at the same address who claims single parent benefit , he claims he don’t live with her but he does and has done so since July 1st 2013 , they are engaged and she has taken his last name .

    i have just got a letter from the csa for £13000 for arears from 20 years ago,i have spoken to them and told them i was paying mother direct they do not care as the money is owed to the s.o.s and i have to pay it,have asked for breakdowns etc,have been self employed all my life and have never been asked for any information,have asked how they came to that sum they could not tell,any help on this would be great.

    The are certain Regulations which states that the CSA should not collect alleged debts up to a certain date. In my view if the debt is 20 years old, they are barred from collecting it. I would need to discuss your case in some detail so please drop me a line at [email protected]
