CSA just keeps making mistakes

On 20th June 2010 I was given custody of my 12 year old daughter Caitlin. The following week the csa informed me they were going to take money from my money to pay for maintainence. Needless to say I was pretty upset by this . A few months later I recieved a letter saying once again they were going to make a deduction at scouce once more I complained to them only to find they were taking money for a child who was not mine. As a result I decided in November 2010 on the advice of the csa to seek payments for my child from my ex wife. Things seemed to go okay and a schedule of payments was set up with the first payment was due at the end of Febuary. No monies were forthcoming. Once more I contacted the agency and was told they were unable to contact my exes employers.

More months passed and the amount owing grew and grew. The problem seemed to be fixed in August and anoter schedule of payments was set up with payments to commence in September. Once again no monies were forthcomming and I was once again forced to spend time on the phone trying to find out what happened.

The team responsible were repeatedly asked to contact me which never happened and yet another month has gone by. That now means they have spent a whole year and achieved absolutly nothing but empty promises. However at the same time they are paying my ex for four other children by two other fathers

  1. So why are you paying for a child who is not yours?

Part of me thinks that some of these posts are a wind up it really does beggar belief.
