CSA is making up arears
I have been dealing with CSA regarding my case. There have been a few alterations to the case and i am waiting 3 months for re assesment. They are divulging too much information to my ex partner for a start. And all of a sudden there seems to be £500 Plus arrears on my account from last year. This is contrary to the evidence i have of prior calculations. I have all paperwork showing the calculations and evidence of payments upto, new employment july this year.
I spoke today to CSA staff and they cannot and wont tell me where the arrears have come from. I spoke to soemone a few months ago regarding the case and they told me to ignore the letter it was a mistake. I belive i have been assesed and payed what they told me on my assesment statements. Therefore owe no arearrs from previously. I only owe from june/July 2010. They really have no idea when peaple phone and ask for information. It seems that they ramdomly make up figures. And cant work out how they did it?
Also they will not accept liability for the figures they make up?

Hi James,
What method of payment do you use?
If there were any outstanding reassessments OR the agency have corrected an error on your case, this maybe where any alleged arrears have occurred.
Request in writing a complete account breakdown from the agency (keep a copy and post ‘signed for’) – it will show payments due and made, and may shed some light the situation.

When they took money out of my salary in addition to paying through the bank the wouldn't admit it and then blamed my HR dept. finally they said clerical error. I threatened them with legal action then they said ok dont pay for the next few months. Take my advice, just ignore the arseholes, dont pay the arrears they won't even notice their that stupid beleive me. I have actually over paid my arrears and will deal with the calculations myself. otherwise see a lawyer or use your local mp for help, they do help, i have used them.
