CSA is forcing us to live on £30 a MONTH for food
Yes, that is a month.
Because of an attachment of earnings for £83 a week, down to a computer error on THEIR part, which caused a huge arrears bill.
I’m the NRP in this case, and feel me and my child (who is the NRP’s child too) are being punished for his past relationship.
How do we fight this? Will they ever take into account that we are now barely surviving because they won’t listen? We’re at risk of eviction and can barely support our child without family handouts from family members on BENEFITS. We’re having to take charity from people who really cannot afford it, but want to help us.

Wow – i seriously feel for you
I cant offer you any advice im affraid but really hope someone here can help.
The CSA really needs to assess NRP situations to some extend rather than leave us like this.
All the best
Hi,
CSA nightmare..for you , have you tried appealing ? and if not you should do so in writing and sent recorded delivery to their complaints also more importantly serve a data protection notice (used to be free but now £10 , I believe) this is so you can see what they have said about you address

, also write to your local MP if you dont know who that is go to http://www.theyworkforyou.com and write to them to ask for help the more complaints made via MP’s the better. I have battled the CSA for nearly 6 years I have not given up…so don’t despair. Also try http://www.nacsa.co.uk/ they also give loads of useful info to help…good luck
