CSA is a farce

I have been fighting with the CSA for over 5 years! My ex has a £470,000 small holding, a lotus and an aston martin – and still manages to pay nothing! I went to a tribunal case January 2010 which decided in my favour meaning he should pay £96.00 a week towards the 4 children. Still to this day I have not received anything but a measly couple of hunderd pounds – he pays the CSA what he wants when he wants.

I call them weekly to hear, oh we’re working on it.

The arrears now stand at £10,000 +

  1. Maybe the CSA are so busy persecuting fathers like myself, financial devastated by my ex wife’s adultery and then divorce, who want to pay for their child (who they see one a fortnight) and are paying but still receive legal letters threatening action for non existent arrears, no linger accept cheques, late payments….
You’re lucky, you’re a woman and a mother and you will receive a sympathetic hearing from the CSA,politicians, media etc.
Can’t say that about men and fathers….

  2. I disagree with you – if it was not for me pushing the csa – they would never have increased his payments from £5.00 per week. I still dont think that I will ever see a penny.
Everyones circumstances are different, I know and appreciate that there are absent parents – whom are also mothers, want to pay for their children and maybe can’t. If my ex was struggling and I knew that he wanted to provide for them, then i would not have pushed this so far. But as I say, I do feel that the CSA did give him a sympathetic ear too many times without knowing the facts.

  3. Dont listen to him Carys I agree with you, that guy seems to judge all mothers but I dont judge all fathers to be the same as my ex! In fact he should be addressing them too as its because of them that he pays more to compensate with the fathers who dont!
