CSA has kept thousands paid by my ex
My ex-husband walked out on me in 1993, leaving me with two children, (2 + 1), and 5 months pregant. We haven’t seen him since. Today, I recieved a letter from them stating that he’s paid £25,000+ in child support to them since Janaury 1994, and can no longer continue paying due to a change in circumstances! I’m stunned, to say the least!
- 1st…I have NEVER seen a single penny of it.
- 2nd…I remarried in 2002, and have moved 3 times since then. So how the hell can they find me, when they’ve always maintained they couldn’t find him?!
Angry? Damn right I am! Where’s all that money?!

Great case of maladministration. Go to your M.P. and ask that he refers your case to the Parliamentary Ombudsman office, on the basis of gross maldministration.
Do not deal directly with the CSA. They are compulsive liars. Ask for all correspondence in writing. Don’t speak to them on the phone as they will stitch you up!
Yet another class example of why this lot should be shut down!

If your case commenced before 03/03/03, it will be old rules (CS1).
Have you claimed benefits during the CSA case?
Have any further cases been opened, which could transfer the case to new rules?
