CSA Falkirk is a useless bureaucratic organisation that should be shut down

I would like to complain about the delay it has taken the csa to investigate and action my case in a manner that one would deem acceptable. I contacted the CSA on 27/10/2010 advising that I disagreed with the decision to grant me £15 a week child maintenance as my ex husband had falsified his income stating that he only earnt £140 a week. To date I have provided various backup to them and on numerous occasions called (36 times in 18 months) to highlight this claim of mine.

In the letter on the 27/10/2010 I attached backup from my ex husband’s accountant and lawyer which verified my claims as the accountants figures showed that he had made over a £10k profit from letting in a six month period along with his drawings from his business. Along with the fact he was:

  1. Able to pay a mortgage of £1400 a month to live in a 3 bedroom flat on his own?
  2. Then there is the weekly income from the shop which varies between £12,000 and £20,000 per annum. The accounts have shown that his share of the profits have been £16k over the period of 2007 and 2008 – since September 2009 he is also now opening on Sundays which we decided to do after a three month pilot as this increased turnover by £55k per annum.
  3. He also lets out three buy to let properties which as at 31 May 2010 made a net profit of £9,363.80 – this figure was prepared by his accountant and forwarded onto my lawyer ; backup of which can be provided.
  4. Finally, my ex husband forwarded a credit card statement which showed spending of over £2k over a four day period for a short break. Surely somebody earning a net income of £141 a week wouldn’t be able to incur such a level of spending. Again backup was provided.

I also asked why my maintenance had started from 25/6/10 whereas I had moved out of the marital home with my daughter on the 26/3/2010 – I have yet to receive a response regarding this question albeit this was raised by me over eight months ago!

I originally faxed all the backup with a covering letter to them on the 6th of August 2010 but as I did not hear back from them so I decided put this in writing on 27/10/2010. As at today’s date I have made numerous calls and written five different letters but in their most recent letter dated May 2011 they are once again asking me for information that I had originally sent them in August 2010 and then again in October 2010.

In March 2011 I wrote in as well as completing a form for variation and again provided further evidence of my ex husband’s lies but when I called up five weeks later I was told this had still to be allocated to a case worker. I then started to call on a weekly basis but was told there was a backlog and this could take up to 12 weeks before anything was even allocated.

In April 2011 I them a bank statement of his proving clearly that my ex husband spends over £140 a week but yet to this date they are still investigating matters or still looking for backup.

This worries me as this has been ongoing for over 18 months now and it seems that they are no further forward and appear to be unsure of how to tackle this issue.

Therefore I would appreciate if you could highlight my case as this is a useless organisation! they have taken so long to actually to pursue my case which is unacceptable as they have all the information at their disposal and then taken over 18 months to analyse this. I have continuously provided them with backup and documentary evidence and chased matters on a regular basis but still it seems that the CSA’s attitude towards actually achieving a result is lax at best!

I would also appreciate if you could advise me if the CSA reports into an ombudsman as to me it appears this organisation has been set up for purely bureaucratic reasons and its main aim is to delay matters and simply create jobs for people.

  1. We need to sort it out full stop.I love my kids but I can not afford to by them a cristmas present or take them for a day out or give them pocket money. Just be Abel to pay my bills. And not get screwed by the CSA .she has affair fucks off with a other man lives you in shit creak to pick up the peaces and still demands money off you so she can live off her children well I can look after my children with out paying the CSA it’s all wrong

  3. Falkirk are the worst of the bunch, they are useless, uneducated, nasty and deliberately make “mistakes” to cause distress.

MY X WIFE CALLED KASHFI IS A BORN LIAR SHE IS JUST TRYING HER HARDEST TO MAKE A MESS AS SHE IS NEVOER HAPPY SHE FILED FOR THE DIVORCE BUT NOW SHE CANT UNDERSTAND WHY THE PROPERTIES VALUATIONS ARE SO LOW COMPARED TO 4 YEARS AGO AND ITS A RECESSION AND SHE HAS GIVEN UP 2 SOLICITORS AND LOOKING FOR THE NEW 3RD SOLICITORS BUT THE LAW IS THE SAME SO ITS JUST A TIME WASTING TACKTIC SO IT CAN BE RECORDED AS THE LONGEST DIVORCE CASE IN EDINBURGH SHE IS JUST A HEAD CASE AND A PURE TROUBLE MAKER

  7. Yousaf, I don’t know you but if you have a child then pay for it. Don’t make excuses and please use a spell checker.

    I hate to admit I do know many asians and a lot of them are absent fathers it’s shocking how you treat your women and you should show some respect to this country.

    We should use these pages for constructive purposes not for personal vendettas, that should be left for the court room. The person above has clearly stated what her issue is and has a right to her opinion on the service that she has received.

    People should understand what this page has been created for and not use this as a platform for personal attacks personally I don’t care if Mr Hussain’s wife has 2 lawyers or 10 and I am confident nobody else gives a damn!

    I, for one agree with the above person’s comments and believe Falkirk are useless at customer service and their response to letters and this needs to be investigated.

  9. Does anyone know the significance of an ex admitting an income of £140 a week? My wife’s 1st husband has admitted the same figure, despite actual earnings of over £2000 per week from consultancy work, and similar spending (including £125 per week direct to his oldest 2 children at University, which is evidenced by their bank statements!).

  10. my brother . in law – yousaf hussain is a mentally twisted person who should be put behind bars he has abused both his wife and kid for over 20 years he has manipulated them and also through his contacts harmed many others. The police in the UK is corrupt as in the fiscal law services which keep protecting animals like him to roam the streets. he has falsified his income on many occassions in order to avoid paying out and has in the past been fined by the inland revenure for not keeping proper records and paying his workers cash in hand – this man has tried to buy sexual favour from me even though I am his brother’s wife…he is a sick man who should be in a mental asylum!

  11. ghazala kashfi grow up!why are u posing as fatima mahmood?fatima mahmood did not write the above post. another classic example of ghazalas bitterness and sick attempts to cause problems. i think u need psychiatric assessment yourself dear!move on and be grateful for what u have in life.stop whinging all the time! the marriage is long over so better u move on in life rather than making postings several months later.this forum is being abused and the moderators ought to take note.in any case police action has been taken against the perpetrator falsely posting as ‘fatima mahmood’.

  12. I have known this lady ghazala kashfi for a number of years and she will lie through her teeth in order to make up a meaty story.
    She is a dangerous person and her comments cannot be taken seriously especially in light of her using other people’s names to create posts.
