CSA doesn’t actually do anything

February 20, 2012

My ex was paying maintenance every now and then saying I’m sorry can i give you it another time.i told him id go to csa if he carried on n said well you do that but you wont get a penny.

He carried on paying me here and there so i went to the csa.

It has now been with the csa two years in April and i dont have a penny,he owes nearly 2000 pound and csa have every bit of detail, like his business, car he drives and yet nothing has been done.they have sent bailiffs and taken him to court and still havent managed to get any money or even try and make a deal with him.im starting to think that i was better off before I went to the CSA.

I think you’re right “Dissy debs” kind of stupid of you. The CSA benefits no one!

Debz, this is because the CSA allows this to happen – you need to complaint in writing, send recorded delivery, when you call them, record details of who you spoke to, date, contact your MP, contact ICE (independent case examiner) please join the facebook groups child support agencies failings and others for free advice and support as there are far too many of us in similar situations and we need to stand together to be heard for the system to be changed.

    Dizzy Debs,

If you haven’t already, escalate your case to a written, clearly marked complaint, keep copies of everything and post signed for delivery. Also copy in your local MP and ask for their assistance.

The agency have obviously gained a Liability Order against your ex for arrears, to enable them to consider the use of bailiffs. Keep chasing them, if you need to speak to them on the phone, also confirm the conversation in writing.
