CSA demands mean I have no money
CSA want me to pay over £13,000 even though i continued to pay most of my ex-wifes standing orders, car finance, loans and cash for holidays etc when we separated as well as me letting her have the house.
Yet when i give proof they tell me they won’t take this into account and will not persue her for not declaring the payments i was giving her even though it was for more than what they are asking for. So i’m being asked to pay it back in a two year dead line even though i have no money left over after paying my own living costs!

Simple. Stop paying her!. I did this out of “respect” when I split too…I bloody wish I never now. Greedy bi**ch can support herself. If you make it painfull enough, she may go back to a private agreement. Make sure you get everything signed for by her….that will flush things out 🙂
Sounds about normal, and you win no points for being nice in their dead eyes. When they were coming for my car, driving licence and sending police around to threatten me with a jail term (all despite them taking 40% of my earnings) they never took into account my other child from a subsiquent relationship, that he would lose his father. They are a bunch of untouchable, faceless bureaucrats who, despite claims to the contrary, seem to enjoy the suffering the inflict upon poor men.You want to see pain… goto a CSA rent-a-judge session at your local court.FIGHT THEM! BRING THEM DOWN!
I am sorry to hear this is what's happening to you. Once the CSA get their claws into you then you have a battle. Your story is not uncommon. The first thing is – what is your EFFECTIVE date? That is the date they got hold of you – they cannot chase debts before that. Then pay for NOTHING outside of the CSA – not a penny and ONLY pay the CSA
You are much safer to pay through the CSA once they have been involved, my ex has denied having money off me, so I am paying direct through the CSA, she can't get any more money from me over what the CSA take!
CSA is truly unfair. Even though they claim there is an amount of "protected income" as they said to me a few days ago over the phone, if a NRP only earns just enough to get by month by month, even if they "only" deduct max. 40%, the person will be unable to pay rent/mortage, utility bills, buy food, clothes, let alone transportation (it's not cheap to use public transport either).
The CSA are absolute faceless cowards… they wont inform me were their buildings are and I have to deal with the midlands branch…. So anyone with the address of the midlands brach… pls forward it….and include by Private message plus forum post…
How do the get payments out of u's cos my childs father went self employed to avoid paying arrears that built up while he ignored requests for info they have never taken enforcement proceeding and im now owed over 8000 in arrears but cant get an advance payment as he still doesnt make regular payments and when he does pay its £20 a month child support only no arrears included! And yet its up to me to provide info that he can afford more than this?!?
