CSA claim I owe them money
CSA are chasing me for money they allege I owe. I say they owe me through a mixture of payments made when I was no longer working and an agreement made with my ex wife, which she is claiming did not exist, so in effect she is trying to get paid twice. By the way, I have evidence to the contrary and the texts I have received from her can be cross referenced with cheques sent to her. With regard to the money that I overpaid that was 6 years + ago and they have still not returned it to me, despite saying several times that they would!!
I have provided this information to the CSA and they have ignored it and are still saying I owe them money. I have contacted my MP and have not heard anything for over a month as I understand he was waiting a response from their CEO. I have just chased my MP up and literally the following day I got home to receive CSA letter stating they were starting court action. They are also using Brighton Magistrates Court which is two hours drive from where I live?? They seem immorale and unethical!!??
I have read of cases where other pple have taken the CSA to court. Can anybody enlighten me on how best to do this. I was considering the Small Claims Court as the amount I believe they own me is less than £5000. Also I understand you can stop companies harassing you. Again has anybody got legal experience of attempting this?? I would be grateful for help. Many thanks

Basically been writing to my MP for the last 14 years and CSA have overcharged me by £2500. My MP tells me he has exhausted everything he can do.
So basically they created legislation that gave this organisation ultimate power to take money from your wages with No accounts and overcharge you , then when they do you cannot get your money back. Took me 14 years to get the CSA to accept direct payments I made. Every time I asked for a statement it was different.
Suggest we all stop voting , You can’t trust any of them .
I am having similar issues. My MP is Jeremy Hunt and he has been a useless *unt. I think the mistake we are making is dealing with things individually and not sharing experiences/information. Firstly lets see what MP’s will champion your cause or if they are saying things to placate you. I got that impression with my MP – he just didnt want to help/know. Secondly if we pool information we have got better ammunition to fight the CSA. For example I believe I have got good evidence that I am being sexually discriminated against. They believe ex wife over me. She has got convictions/cautions – I havent. I am wondering if we can fight CSA through Small Claims Court? Pple on different forums say they have fought CSA and won. Trouble is they dont say how. Due to work I dont have a lot of time to fight this but I intend to be more proactive in getting the media involved. I have got evidence of CSA corruption from another website and intend to send that to my MP with a fairly strong letter to him suggesting he could be more proactive – i also intend to copy the letter with evidence to local/major newspapers and see if any pick up on the story.
