CSA blame everyone but themselves
I’ve gone from a non resident parent to a resident parent.I was paying maintenance through a deduction of earnings order but the csa still took the money for two months after.They said they would pay the overpayment back.Phoned today to ask where the money is (after waiting for nearly two weeks)and they stated they have written to me and attempted to ring me 5 times ,since they have had no response(only because I’ve not received any mail or calls to which they said there not responsible for royal mail)they had decided to overturn the decision and not pay back any overpayment.

The CMS are a bunch of unaccountable crooks bent on wrecking peoples lives……..
Two months your bloody lucky !!! My eldest moved in with me Dec 2015 (notified the CSA a few days after this) my first reduced payment via DEO was this month. Got the arrears back in June, July with some still to come. I had a similar problem on the arrears but when I challenged them they soon caved in.

We had this issue with the CSA, 1800.00 overpayment due to fictitious arrears, mp told us to demand it back but CSA said that the wouldn’t due to the PWC deeming them correct at the time? Ex put an appeal in, which she lost still wanting rest of arrears that didn’t exist even though in my opinion she had money that wasn’t rightfully hers! System is a joke and not a funny one!
