CSA are leaving me with no money to buy food
I have had a DEO on my salary for the last 3 years and have been paying £15.70 per week. I was re-assessed in May 2009, and CSA stated that I should pay £78.72 per week. I earn £315.00 per week, so this would leave me £236 to pay £243 worth of rent, C/T bills and debts. So i’m minus £7 before i buy food. I requested a re-assessent and was told that i could not appeal until i recieved the appeals booklet.
I heard nothing until 23rd september 2009 when i received a statement. it stated that I had been paying the 78.72 since june.
I obviously had not nor had my employer been paying it. So my re-assessment was turned down in june, I have not been given the chance to appeal against it, i have incurred arrears because of this and now i have received a DEO stating that they are taking £136 from me next week leaving me with £193 per week. Well, i have to budget on putting away £170 per week just for rent and council tax, so i’m being left with £23 to pay everything, and buy food!!!!!!!
And they CSA will not admit they made a mistake or were wrong.
This is spiraling out of control and isn’t common sense used anymore
