CSA again threatens me with prison
I have, and still am having all the above problems with the CSA.
I have once again been threatened with a prison sentence. Can’t see what this will achieve. (a) I will lose my low paid job and have to go on the dole. (b) I won’t see “my kids” for a long while whilst locked up!!!! (c) How can i afford to pay them on my release?????
Been fighting these ANIMALS for about 10 years. In that time i have lost my house, which i brought for the benefit of the children. Had to sell my car (transport for work) when the “THIEVES” froze my bank account on my fisrt montly pay and did not take into account that i was married with 2 step-children and rent to pay. Had an attachment of earnings order which drove me to give up my job as they were taking far too much than i could afford.
wish i paid “the thing the kids call mother” by cheques and not cash as i don’t have proof. Did ask the CSA for the two eldest children 19 and 20 at the time, if they can defend the payments made as i would usually give it to them at their mother’s doorstep. Too easy answer was no!!!!! During these years of turmoil i have very good reasons that the eldest child is not mine. The mum refused DNA and i want to counterclaim agaisn’t the arrears.

I have their personal notes on me though data protection act, you should read the section where they wanted to Jail me. Sick people, they will learn their lesson one day.Selective watching should be "Law Abiding Citizen" 😉
i have just been told if i become unemployed they could lock me up
they cannot force you to make CSA payments if you get sacked or made redundant, u'll be assessed as unemployed an arrears will remain arrears till new employment, CSA dont have the ability to imprison you, only the courts and you can prove unemployment with a letter from DWP!!!!
state you are willing to pay but finances prevent you paying under the unemployment assessment.. tie em up in their paperwork
they cannot imprison you for being unemployed!!!!
assessment when unemployed is £5 per week from JSA or ESA, Income Support…. unless shared care is in effect of 52 nights or more per annum… and then you become nil assessed!!!!
arrears will arrest until you become employed again!
I doubt vry much whether they would put you in prison. they are far too overcrowded for the likes of the victims of the CSA.. I have an harrassment order on my ex and he has to breach it several times before they are even likely to get him in court and well the copper told me even then a prison sentence is unlikely cos they are way to overcrowded.. prison is reserved for criminals not people who have problems with the CSA.. so up theres… is what i say…
I wouldnt worry bout prison issue… I can assure you, the CSA do not have the power to imprison you!!! only the courts can do this!!!!! You cannot be imprisoned for being unemployed whether forcefully or by choice… that's a fact from an ex-convict who has such knowledge…. I know how the law works!!!!!!!
Yes they can put you in prison. Seen it done. But you can get out within a few days, because their a precedent set in the Appeal court that says that it is not humane (or words to that effect) to have someone put in prison because they cannot afford to pay. It is also not in the best interests of the children.
I was arrested on Monday. Yes, 3 days ago. It seems the CSA didn't like me detailing back to them everything they've done to me and other fathers. The way the take our money and don't give it to our children, the way their actions result in us not seeing our children, and the way their actions result in so many fathers taking their own lives. After spending the whole day in a cell at the police station with interviews etc, I was released without charge. This was just retaliation for making them withdraw their claim against me.
Nice to see on job application – have ever been in prison ?YesReason – none payment of child support
sounds like detention in a police cell, not a prison cell… this is evident as release without charge, indicating imprisonment in a Police cell… not exactly a prison..lol.. Prison is a different thing entirely and only the courts have the power to place you into prison!!!
CSA can only request an arrest… that procedure evidently was dealt with by the Police themselves as you wer in police custody…. the CSA cannot take you up into the box but the police can if CSA choose to press charges…. then only the courts can sentence you…. not the CSA… any court who responds to the CSA demands is abismal and therfore an unjust system…. wahay for UK justice eh!!!! NOT!!!!
