Can they tell the PWC about my children’s disabilities?

I’m currently trying to apply for a variation on the chid maintence my husband has to pay to his ex. We have 4 other children and two who are disabled . They have told me that they cannot take into account that I cannot work because of caring and my loss of income as my income hasn’t been taken into account. A flimsy excuse as they have my kids tax credits! And yes it does cost us money to have me at home to care !

Is this right? When their website says personal care and attendance . And also is it true that they are allowed to tell the pwc the private information I have sent in regarding my children’s disabilities ?

  1. They are not allowed to disclose any info that is personal as this would be a breach of the data protection act. If you suspect this has happened contact the information commissioners office they are very strict about this
