Can the CSA chase me for arrears if they do not know I am working?
Just a quick questios, not in arrears all paid up, but when the csa contacted me a couple of years ago out of the blue, I’m self employed they asked to see my latest accounts and thats all and thats all I supplied as asked. They did not ask or mention the temping job I do, prob because the ex does not know about it.
My question is am I doing something wrong could they come after me for arrears on money earned I did not tell them about, even though they did not not ask?

Interesting… why would you want to work if not for the benefit of your children? At the end of the day you must live with your conscience. However, it is implied in the CSA’s request that this includes all income – your failure to declare will undoubtedly lead to arrears recovery. Better to pay up now than be faced with a hefty bill some years down the line.
