Can my partner tell the CSA the child still lives with the ex?

Hi I have another querie !!!

Can my partner tell the csa before he pays any money that he wants prove that the child still lives with the X partner and if he is still at school or education as he has no proof of this !!! The child is 17 and isn’t mentioned as living with her on the voters roll ???

And I was wondering if anyone knows that seemingly the paying parent is meant to get a reduced tax code so my partner payed 800 all those years with no reduction that he knows off does anyone know more details about this and what to do ??

Regards

  1. Voting age in the U.K. is 18.
Appearance on electoral roll after age of 18.
Child maintenance is not tax deductible in the U.K.

  2. You can ask the CSA to check the status of the QC, ie child benefit in payment to PWC, QC in full time non advanced education and still in PWC’s household.
