Can my ex just pick and choose what to give money for?

My estranged husband has threatend to stop his csa money to buy our daughter clothers of which she has plenty of.

Can he do this?

Also would it be better to stop these threats, to take money as a attachment of earnings? Thank you for your help.

  1. Why not get a job instead of expecting free hand outs why not support your child thru work instead of the whole country supporting you thru benefits! What your ex husband spends his money that he earns is nothing to do with you as long as he supports his child! Women like you who moan over money make me sick

  2. Listen here Lisa! I’ve got a full time job and work very hard for my daughter! I’ve asked a question on here to find so guidance as my daughters dad is a waste of space and a control freak! So comments like yours keep them to yourself! Regards.

  3. Just for your information I have never been on any benifts in my life. I’ve worked everyday since being 16. So please keep your options for day time telly to rant at.

  4. At Sarah Louise White…why the hell should the Nrp pay for utility bills. And don’t give me this crap about the child lives there. Cm is for the KIDS end of, it’s not there to help pay the ex,s bills. Cm should be spent entirely on the kids. And what about my case for instance, where my ex has a full time working partner. Why the hell am I helping him pay his utility bills???
Harry woods…you are 100% correct in what you say. Far to much control over our money is given to the pwc to do with whatever she wants. What’s next Sarah? I suppose it’s ok for the pwc to use my money to finance her new car using the pathetic excuse that my daughter gets to ride in it at week ends…..fucking disgrace grrrrrrrrrr

  5. Why shouldn’t this guy spend his money on designer clothes, latest gadgets etc etc, his money and I’m sure his daughter would be more than delighted, particularly. If the mother cannot afford those things. How about that then….the mother takes care of the kids every day needs and the dad takes care of the things the kid wants, those items that her school friends have but she can’t because mummy can’t afford them. Surely that’s contributing and making your kids happy.
But WAIT A MIN….that would never work because control of the money is taken away from the mother and she’s not able to spend it on new shoes, make up etc etc.
what the Nrp spends HIS Money on for his kids SHOULD be his choice and not the mothers

  6. Yes I have worked since the age of 16! Full time thank you very much! I asked this question for a bit of guidance not a Witch hunt! My ex is very controlling and he was telling how I can use the money he gave me.

HIS money, so why the hell should he not have a say? OR insist its spend on his daughter..this is my main gripe…with this system..nrp should have a dam right in how his money is being spent.
