Can I settle with my ex and close the CSA case down?

I am trying to settle with the mother of my child, but I do not trust that she will close the old system. I want to give her a certain amount to close the old system case, but she might take the money and have me continue on the old system, since everything is under mother decision. She says she would close the case but I do not trust her.

IS THERE ANYWAY YOU CAN PROVIDE ME WITH A DEED OR BINDING AGREEMENT FOR HER TO CLOSE THE CASE FOR CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONE?

My case worker is Beverley. I am based in Dudley. My name is Wayne Porter. I need a solicitor to make sure when I pay the money she closes the case. This is the first time in my life I can be solvant. The old system and interest rates have crypled me.

  1. When government and its agencies tell you that they are there to help you remember the age-old adage of United States President Ronald Reagan:

“The most feared words in the US are–I’m from the government, and I’m here to help you”.

  2. My understanding is that she can request the case be re-opened at any time. I know this to be the case because my ex stopped proceedings after negotiations, some few months later I recieved a demand from the CSA, upon calling them they stated the above. It may be worth seeking legal advice before thinking you are safe. Women are evil.

  3. Whatever you do DON'T TRUST HER,MY husband was far too soft with his ex and cos he trusted her we are suffering now. She may come across as all sweetness and light but take it from one who knows, she will use the csa for her own advantage.

  4. God aren't you lot so bloody vicious! He can go to a solicitor with his ex and have an agreement drawn up and he can obviously make sure he's handing over the cash via banks and keeping the bank statements. So yes mate, she can close the CSA case but as a precaution you should insist that an agreement is drawn up and you both stick to it.

  5. Natasha, I think you've simplified it way too much… The PWC can reopen it at anytime, you may not even know for many months that this has happened! You really need to understand how the mechanism of the CSA and the system works BEFORE posting comments like the above!

  6. A system which gives the ULTIMATE control to one party to dictate to the other is one not to be trusted. I personally would work on the assuption that my ex would set out to screw me whether or not she would do so! You've got to look after your OWN interests first. I wish I could say CHILDREN but the CSA was not put in place to support children.

  7. I totally agree with you Lee, the children are the last thing, its for CERTAIN BITTER EX PARTNERS who want to try and ruin their former partner and his/her second family. The PWC Should have a taste of what the NRP and 2nd family go through, and b4 any nasty comments I speak from experience. My husband Was paying, and the bills, and loans but they don't take this on board, especially when the former partner DENIED everything.

  8. Well, I have to arrange my affairs in such a way that the CSA involvement is negligible. My ex has control over what I do otherwise which is just not happening! The CSA cost me my job and they ain't going to get a second chance! The crazy thing is that my ex refuses to come off the CSA and have a private arrangement (BY THIS I MEAN WITHOUT THE INPUT OF THE CSA IN ANY WAY) but then she is only screwing our child! The CSA cause resentment between the ex's for no obvious reason, all it does is harm the children.

  9. Don’t trust her…women are greedy, manipulative leeches, avoid at all costs. If you “try” and be reasonable you will get screwed. trust no one.

  10. Speak 2 ur MP & ask 4 a full review as it's ur property which is involved. If ur partner isn't on the deeds of the property they will b unable 2 take the debt from the house. Arrears can only b accrued from the point when paternity is proved & an assessment has been calculated if u only found out in 2008. That's the date maintenance will start from
