Can I ask to be evaluated again
I pay my ex parner £69 per week for one child who i was never allowed to see when she met her new partner.I earn £1400 net per month on average is this the correct amount i should be paying?
i was assessed 14 years ago on the old system my daughter is now 15.How long do i have to pay CSA payments for my daughter?. i married in September 2008 and i have two step children one aged 20 currently working now and the other is 17 and in sixth form and will be for the next two years. can i ask to be evaluated again ? i was told i had to pay £69 per week and that was it! one payment went through late once due to a bank holiday and the next week i had a attachment to earnings set up against me what a night mare, it took ages to have this removed even though i was still paying weekly and having the money taken direct out of my salary but i did finnaly get it stopped and just pay weekly now.
Please offer any advice that may help me please i still have a family to feed and put a roof over there heads. Can the CSA take my wife income into concideration for my child to my ex partner?.

Welcome to the csa.
Its 15% of your salary. I believe its calculated before tax and ni deductions
No its changed now it was 15% of your net it’s now 20% of your gross pay. Almost forgot plus another 20% for using them to pay your ex for six months so pay on time and in full or the bastards will increase that to 12 months
As you are on CS1, the oldest system, it is not a straightforward percentage of your income.
They first of all determine a maintenance requirement that reduces as the child gets old through the gradual removal of the carers allowance.
Then they make 3 calculations.
30% of your net income.
Net income minus your exempt income.
Total disposable income of your household minus protected income.
Then they take the smallest resulting amount and that is the child maintenance.
They need your wife’s income for the third calculation.
If you do not tell them your wife’s income they can do an interim assessment type B which does not include protected income.
You pay child maintenance upto when the child leaves full time non advanced education or reaches the age of 20.
Any time you have a change of circumstances you can request a reassessment.

You can work it out for your self on here……basses on what you have said you should be paying £39.00 a week, but if you have arrears then that will also be added to the total figure
Go use the online calculator answer honestly abd if you have moved on with someone else who has kids or u have another child with them then it should go down i got mine down to 20 a week for two kids
Paying too much mate if u got 2 other kids
It’s a maximum of 20% that can be less depending on how many nights a year your child stays overnight with you?
If you carnt see your child or children.why should you pay csa.
