Attachments of earnings

At a time when TV adverts constantly reminded me how much the government values good teachers, the CSA made an attachment of earnings to my salary as a part-time college lecturer which meant I had to borrow money to continue going to work.

They left me with £11 a week and my travel to work costs were £25 a week.

Needless to say I was forced to resign at short notice. Later they admitted their mistake in a letter. I have been self-employed ever since on a marginal income.

Recently they tried to bill me for an amount of over £4000 on the basis of their malassessment of my income.

I am so incensed by this I have built a website called www.classactionhero.co.uk and I want anyone who has this kind of issue with the total terrorism of the CSA to nominate or join a class action at this site.

I am collecting names now and if we get enough there may some possibility of legal group action on specific legislation / maladministration from the CSA
