Are you married? I think they can’t even if you are
Yes they do as it’s classed as a household income which is shocking as child tax credit is for the child in your house hold but as you are the main earner csa shouldn’t be taking that much
no they shouldnt and hmrc wont give them your tax credits if they ask for money tell them you support your partner as he has no income and tell them to sit and swivel lol
Ahell Abazarazta Obloslowbutsure liked this on Facebook.
Yes they do, I have my eldest living with me but don’t claim CSA from his mother.. She on the other hand claims CSA for the others that live with her and they take working tax credit into account.. Basically every penny that comes into my house
It depends on when the claim was made. My claim made in sept 2013 can not – I was informed of this by an employee on the phone when I made my claim and quite honestly found the fact that they ever did take them into account absolutely disgraceful !
I pay for my partner’s child out of child tax credits. He is also a nil earner. They only take working tax credit into account if the NRP is the higher earner. However on the new CMS system they do not use any tax credits.
You can say NO and tell them were to go . The law say they can not , even when they say they can they are making it up.They can not by law take money from a never child to give to a never that why HMRC well not let them just take it right from them . they have to send u a standing order just do not send it in . They well say these and that but the law on your side no matter when your claim was put in .
So how is it with the Tax Credits which of them can be taken into account if for example the case started in august 2013 ? What if I’m getting the Child Tax Credit and my husband gets the Working one at the moment? What if our earnings are the same?
