I am paying 330 a month for my 2 kids. I e-mailed my mp and my mp wants me to send them the details of my payments and payslips. Plus wot i payout. So im waiting from my mp about it. My mp said she will write to the csa and ask for a breakdown of all my money i paid in and the money i owe . I will keep you posted….
40£/week for 2 children??? Too much???? Is this some kind of joke? Poor children that doesn’t even pay for their weekly food. Instead of trying to see if u r paying too much w a rate of 40£/w, and trying to give urself excuses u should work more to provide a better lifestyle for ur kids. They r ur responsibility
Fadela Seddini : If you end up having to sign on for losing a job, you should only end up paying a max of £5.00 a week until you are back in employment. Make sure you let the CSA the moment you lose your job. They show no mercy and will not backdate if you’ve paid more than you are required to by law. As for Andrew Jones: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your MP will be able to do nothing and I speak from experience. The CSA DO NOT take into account your outgoings. If their formula states you have to pay a certain percentage of your wages depending on the amount of children you are to pay for then that’s what you have to pay. Dosn’t matter if you have a rent to pay. It’s never about the best interests of the children which is that they have a right to both parents. But a combination of the CSA, Vindictive exes (if your unfortunate to have one) means both you and your children have no chance in hell of a life.
Jason Spurgeon you are so right and also talking from experience. So Andrew jones please don’t expect ur MP to do anything the csa dont and wont care about ur bills or even ur health.
@ Fadela Seddini – £40 may not be much to you but it’s a lot of money when you don’t have any!!! NRP’s are not subsidised with child tax credits, working tax credits and child benefit (NONE of which the PWC pays for) that’s before the £40 is added to it….
So lets be clear…. with the government and the NRP are providing for the kids… how much do YOU contribute to your children AFTER all your bills are paid??? Not from the money GIVEN to you by our government…. money YOU work for and pay bills with…
I am not a vindictive parent…my kids dad has paid the maximum of £6 a week and that was with owning his own shop at the time
My exes partner was the one to go to the CSA after complaining that my ex shouldn’t pay £50 a week for his kids
It is not the rights of a particular parent…it’s the right of the child
£6 doesn’t feed my kids for one day!!! So when you’re sat there moaning about paying money to the kids you fathered think about how they feel when you moan that you have to pay for them…
Our MP at the time, Alistair Burt, did nothing when we got slapped with a mysterious arrears notice! Waste of time and effort!
Fadela Seddini
If this NRP puts in 40 quid a week and the mother puts in 40 a week then her child benifit of 38 quid a week then tax credits on top this is more than enough for two kids or do you want to see this poor chap on his knees in financial difficulty ?
You seem to be assuming I’m classing all exes as vindictive. I’m not, but so many are. You are all judging me without knowing me. Very mature. You know nothing of my circumstances, and all my decisions I make in my childrens lives are for the best interests of my children, unlike the vindictive ex, the CSA, Cafcass etc.
Yet you’re judging people who use the CSA as vindictive…that’s very mature!!
