All I want is a little help

My son is 16 in October and I have never had any payment from his dad since he was born.

I have also a 5 year old daughter from my husband of 5 years, we have been together for 10years and my husband has brought up my son since he was 5.

My son has had no contact with his dad until he went on facebook when he was 12, he has been for a visit last summer but no visits this year and doesn’t want to go. I have texted and rung his dad asking for a little help financially, as my son is an adult size and not a child anymore and he is expected to stay on with further education until 18 under the new law.

I have had heard nothing back from his dad who I feel should contribute toward his future.
