Absentee Father never has paid a penny to his three children
My Ex Partner Mr Martin Christopher Leathley has a full time job, and has Never paid anything for his three children.
His eldest child is now 17, and his youngest is now 10. He POPS up to my home like a bad penny every so many months, but has never gave me anything for their upkeep since they were born. He rarely sees them and all he has done is cause me trouble with my New Partner.
I am fuming that he hasnt been dealt with and it seems to me that i have always had to contact the CSA myself. This horrible Man, if you can call him a Man, has done nothing but humiliate me past and future with all this crap.
I even gave the csa details of where he worked who he works for and he doesnt pay any Rent, COUNCIL TAX as he lives with his Nephew and his two children.
I have done everything to get him caught by csa, but nothing AGAIN!!!! He actually made a comment to my two Sons and said “If Ididnt have you two today,I would be at work now making loadsa money now, do you know that?…my blood is boiling i hate him, and i hate the CSA for not doing anything for me and my children
He also knows that my Partner Paul went to work TO SUPPORT HIS THREE CHILDREN AND STILL NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO HIM. He has a Bank account anULTIMATE REWARD BANK ACCOUNT AND HAS A LOT MORE MONEY THAN ME. I have tried to get Employment myself but i had no problems getting the Jobs, it was when it was all calculated up, wasnt worth my while. I was WORSE OFF, so even that gets to me, knowing that i tried but i had to stay home with HIS THREE CHILDREN WHILE HE REAPED HIS OWN HARVEST IN, AND WHAT A GOLDMINE HES SAT ON NOW.
He only ever turns up to cause bother….

janet,so basically wo your sayin is none of the kids parents are actually supporting these children.its up to anotherman to do it.jeez.u a lotof pwc are worseoff financially by workin, but they still do it,because at least they then know there doin therebit 2 provide instead of relying on any one else.to be honest it oesnt look like there father will ever provide, but thats his loss at end day.csa are useless nd arnt interested unless its money owed to the sec of state..
Stop moaning n get a life I never have n never will get anything from my ex yet nowmy husband and I have to work to pay csa to cover his ex s benifits! You wont get more money from the csa n why should u anyway we would rather provide things for the kids not support her meaning all our kids go without, count your blessings n get on with it u have kids make the most of em
Sorry Sarah but thats not the attitude to take.
It should be a law that once two people make a child, that two people support them.
In this country its a catch 22 if you work you are dammed if you dont you are too.
I work and always have but also understand that some people cant and will be worse off – thats the governments fault for allowing that, they should make it easier to work – and pay more and get help with childcare and harder to be on benefits!
You need to be proactive, contact the relevant authorities about what he is doing and put everything in writing to complain to the CSA.

Hi Janet,
When did the CSA first become involved?
Have the CSA made a calculation for the amount of child support that your ex should pay?
You should perhaps escalate your case to a clearly marked complaint, include as much info as possible as well as dates etc, post it signed for and keep a copy for yourself and send a copy to your local MP and request their assistance with the matter.
Both parents are responsible for their child/ren, it is beside the point that you claim benefits, it does not negate your ex’s obligations.

~ eh ????
Under English law parents are responsible for upholding all the duties, powers, rights, authority and responsibilities in relation to their child.
Separated parents are legally duty bound to ensure their child, or children, are properly looked after. Child support laws in the UK therefore obligate a non resident parent to pay a periodic amount of maintenance in order to provide financial assistance for the child in their home environment.
