Why won’t the CSA just call and update me?

I telephoned called on the 3rd October 2012 regarding my claim against Mr Hill,the man who answered my call said you had received my declaration that i had signed to say Mr Hill had paid me £810 directly in to my bank and it was with the calculation team.

When i asked him how long it would take now he replied 14 days i telephoned on Monday 15th October to hear a totally different story.

Now i realise why it took so long in the past as Mr Hill was not co-operating but this time it was actually Mr Hill who called upon yourself to inform you his circumstances had changed. I feel i’m still even no further forward even with Mr Hills cooperation.

It is so frustrating hearing different things when i call i would appreciate it if somebody could actually call and update me.
