Why don’t the CSA look into my ex’s income?

Why do the CSA not look in to how much is going in to an EXs household? Reason i ask is that mine has over £2000 per mounth and thats before i pay in to it.

I am on the bread line like a lot of us yet someone who does not work, gets benifits gets away with out so much of a single stoppage on any benifits?mind boggels at this.

Had two jobs to make sure that i was paying enough at the start so we did not have to bring CSA into our problem, then i have my child for 1wk in holidays take off 1wks money from the month and next thing i have CSA calling, have to leave 2nd job as to much was being asked for and now i dont even have enough to go and visit them with.

While EX goes on holidays.also why do CSA not aske about what the outgoings are for the party that is paying out,ie:rent council tax,as im sure that if someone gets told you must pay this and the person whos paying says “no,i will just leave my job, then the CSA/gov gets nothing.

Surly something is better than nothing. END.
