When my sons’ father leaves, can I claim support?

I am 18 years old and my boyfriend is 19 and we have two sons together. one is almost 4 and the other is 1 and a half.

We have lived together for 2 years in my parents home while we were finishing high school. We graduated this past May. And he finally has a job. My parents have supported all of us in this time before he became employed.

Now I am trying to get my drivers license so that I will be able to drive myself to college classes and not have to depend on someone else to get me there.

My boyfriend has not been doing his part to support out children as I had hoped he woukd when he finally got a job and could take some of the financial responsibility off of my parents. My is talking about leaving now. Do I have rights to child support when he leaves us?
