My son starts university in September, so why am I still paying?

What legislation is it that ensures that although a child has finished full time education, the CSa still demand money until the start of the new academic year based on the fact that child benefit will be paid until end of August . My son has finished his a levels and left college and is starting university in sept but CSa still want paying
