Millionaire ex threatened me and children with a gun

Please I need some advice, my daughters are now grown up i am in very poor health with cancer. I have never had a penny of maintenance the CSA told me not to carry on with my claim as my ex although a ‘respectable’ chartered architect suffers from morbid jealously he was very violent towards me and they persuaded me not to proceed. He is a millionaire and lives that lifestyle ,very clever always thought he was above the law and he has been proved right. For example he would take me to court to reduce what he had never paid me !!

We built a business together, locally every one knew me as a formidable woman and I gained the respect because of my hard work and attention to detail, the day I had my second daughter I was working on a building site until 4pm started to have her at 5pm she was born just after 8pm.

Because of the bewildering and untenable situation and with his! parents help I gained an ousting order for the same day I first went to a solicitor and a police protection order. Was given a divorce within 10 days and an absolute within 3 months. No financial settlement was made because my and the childrens safety was considered he took a gun to the three of us the girls were 6 and 7 and said if we ever dare leave him he would find us and shoot us.

Since the divorce many years ago he has made sure if he could not have me then he was going to make sure that i never had a life. That has not happened but I have suffered with my health so much because of the extreme pressure on me.

Later court orders were made in which after a week long case he was not allowed any physical contact with the girls again.This order was made after the 1989 childrens act that gave fathers more rights and the judge would not allow him any appeal process he said he had heard enough and any appeals would have to go through him. He had taken me back to court for more access. The barrister at the time said Kate never watch sleeping with the enemy will you, apparently it is about a proffesional man who is a psycopath still never have !.

He also said I would never get a penny from this man and he has been proved right.Did go through every process but he cleverly and unbelievably got himelf on invalidity benefit {that would never have happened today} for kidney stones and I saw the certificate myself, he then put everything into his girlfriends name including his cars she did not drive. Bless the girlfriend she died in a car crash not long after I think she took her hands off the wheel in desperation. I have done the same on my way home to him not knowing what kind of mood he would be in.

I was awarded 5 pence a year i remember having a huge gas bill at the time the legal team were convinced he would be forced tp pay but they never considered how clever he was . It was a differet barrister, they did apologise my solicitor came to the house and said basically that they had underestimated him and they were truly sorry and in hindsight they should have done things differently.

I by this time was nervous breakdown stage, but knew I could not crumble because of the girls, went and did manual work in a factory it cured the mental problems i was working so hard I used to seat in freezing conditions but physically i was in a very poor state cluster headaches a rare form of migraine and severe chest problems that have carried on pleurisy last year and grade 4 breast cancer exactly 4 years ago which then went to my lungs but i am stable.
