I now owe more than £2,000 – this is out of hand
December 10, 2013
This is my story I have a 6 year old boy who is my world I split from his mum and had a 2 year court battle in which I ended up being in £4500 debt. I was missing mortgage payment and due to court appearances I lost time in work and lost my job. I then started work and told the CSA of my new job and they said they could not take payment for 6 weeks I then starting paying off my debt ( mortgage / lenders) at the end of the 6 weeks the CSA demanded the full 6 weeks CSA payments which I didn’t have due to paying my mortgage.
This has got out of hand and I now owe £2156, they have phoned and phoned me time and time again they are taking me to court and have said a bailiff would come to my house and take all my things. I have my son 3 times a week and 2 of them are sleep overs but they still want money I provide for my son as best as I can and if I take him on holiday they still want payment. I feel bullied and harassed and have been to see my GP due to not being able to sleep I don’t know what to do. I am out of work again and to afraid to start work as the CSA say they will take 40% out of my pay to make up for arrears that I owe so I’m lost I can’t work and am going to lose my home but I can’t afford to work if the CSA take such a large amount they have even agreed if I borrow money off friends to pay them monthly payments. I’m at my whitts end please can you help me.
Thank you
