I have found the CSA to be unpleasantly hostile

During a period between 1998-2001 csa took payments from my wages of £500 each month for being an absent father.

As soon as they stopped taking the monies, i would then receive a letter/statement every 6 months notyfying me that the balance was £0.00. This went on every 6 months until my daughter turned 18 in 2011.

Suddenly the letters stopped. what i would like to know is that i have never ever received a receipt for the total amount of money payed to them.

Surely this cant be correct can it? am i entitled to a receipt?

I thought i would ask the question here before i telephone them, as previous comms i found them to be unpleasantly hostile.
