Girlfriend threatens to leave because of CSA pressure

I recently have had another child with my current partner. I told the csa 3 days later (over the phone) that my daughter was born on the 15th of august and would they re-evaluate me again as i have a child now living with me. They agreed to take my payments down from £25 per week to £21 (wow, eh, 4 pound, would not even get my daughter nappies, or milk or anything basically).

However the fact the the csa recognized my new child i thought….fair enough. However it took 4 months to change my deduction of earnings order and in the mean time i was paying £25 (higher rate). Now that it finally has been changed the csa owe me in the region of about between £60 and £100 which they have acknowledged. They have said that it is my works fault, i fail to believe this as there has been no problems in the last 2 years. They also said that my payments are not going to my first born, they are sitting in an account with nobody in receipt of my money.

So from the 18th of august until today (25/02/11) i have still not got my money refunded, my boy is not getting the money that is being taken from me, and in the mean time my family is struggling to cope and my girlfriend keeps threatning to leave me as she will get more money being a single parent than i can provide for them.

One final thing the office in falkirk is a total disgrace, everything is everybody elses fault (me, my employer etc). No one will take account for anything, am going to try and phone them again, wish me luck!!!

Ps: This website makes me feel a bit better (am not the only one who has experienced hardship with this group).
