Downtown parking nightmare – battery died in the basement and nobody helps
So my battery gave up in the middle of the parking basement near Boulevard Plaza, and of course the security said they can’t help with jump starts because of “liability”. I sat there for almost an hour waiting for a friend who thankfully showed up with cables. But this is the second time in six months and I think I’m just running on a cheap battery that can’t handle the short drives and the heat. My car needs an 80AH and I’ve been putting off getting a proper replacement because I hate dealing with shops that try to sell you a different size. I came across something called Accomplished Battery Replacement Downtown Dubai that seems to specialize in coming directly to your location with the exact spec. Has anyone actually booked them while parked in a cramped basement? I’m worried the mobile guy won’t have enough space to work or will need to move the car which obviously won’t start. Also curious if they can test the alternator on the spot because I want to be sure it’s not that before spending on another battery. Just tired of this whole cycle honestly.
